SOAR Scholarship

In alignment with admissions and retention policies and procedures, Life Christian Academy desires to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered educational experience. We aim to be inclusive in our procedures and policies to allow students of various backgrounds, races, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and family structures to join us in our mission to LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, SPEAK LIFE, and PRAY POWERFUL PRAYERS. This scholarship is designed to assist families financially in making Christian education a reality.

Life Christian Academy offers financial aid through Tuition Assistance to families that qualify. Tuition Assistance has a maximum value per student annually. Using donations made directly to the SOAR Fund, LCA and its donors seek to provide additional financial assistance above Tuition Assistance. 

Below is a list of criteria to be considered for the SOAR Scholarship. 

  • Families must complete an application to attend Life Christian Academy in the fall.
  • Families must apply for Tuition Assistance through FACTS within specified time frames.
  • First-time applicants and returning SOAR recipients must complete the SOAR Scholarship application.
  • New applicants must submit at least one Teacher Recommendation Letter with their application.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
  • Applicants must participate in Life Christian Academy extracurricular activities (athletics, clubs, fine arts, etc.).
  • New applicants must submit answers to our four essay prompts through our online SOAR Scholarship application.
  • The SOAR Scholarship Committee may interview applicants.
